My name is Marissa Falcon and I have been working at Montessori Explorer school for the last 7 years, and 10 years of experience.
I started my Montessori journey back in 2014, when I gave a second chance to education after finishing my degree on Graphic design and always having in mind that children have always been present to rely while I was young, children would always follow me and pretend being their moms and just having a special connection. Specially recalling my aunt telling me that she would pay for my education when I was 13 years old, she noticed that childhood education was a good fit for me.
I love working with kids emphasize the Montessori education based on independence, respect and a child-centered approach to learn, that way I get to know individual personalities and introduce lessons when the child is ready.
Everything in the classroom is intentionally designed to support independent learning and exploration, the material are accessible to encourage their curiosity. I love having mixed age groups promoting the collaboration from older children to mentor the young ones.
I decided to start my education with the Montessori Method since it has always been a home loving space and unique way to teach children individually, but most importantly independence, social harmony and peace.
Helping them solve their problems and think for all the community is something that brings me joy to set an example and to guide their future and inspire to be and become empathic around the world.
